How do I change my name?
Before changing your name, we suggest contacting Equifax first to verify the name they have on file for you. Updating your name with Borrowell doesn't automatically update your name with the credit bureau. Any mismatch in information between your Equifax and Borrowell files may prevent you from receiving your credit report/score from us.
How do I correct my date of birth?
For security reasons, only a Borrowell representative can update your date of birth on file.
How do I change my address?
Before changing your address, we suggest contacting Equifax first to verify what address they have on file for you. Updating your information with Borrowell doesn't automatically update it with Equifax. Any mismatch of information between Equifax and Borrowell may prevent you from receiving your credit score/report.
How do I change my phone number?
To change your phone number from the mobile app:
- Click the icon "person" found in the top right corner of the screen
- Click on "Edit Your Profile"
- Under Personal Information, click "Phone number"
To change your phone number from a computer/laptop web browser or mobile web browser:
- Click your name in the top right corner of the page (if you're on a computer or laptop web browser) or click the 3 horizontal lines on the top left or right corner of the page (if you're on a mobile web browser)
- From the drop-down, select "Profile"
- Under Contact Information, click "Edit Profile"
To change your email from the mobile app:
- Click the icon "person" found in the top right corner of the screen
- Click on "Edit Your Profile"
- Under Profile Information, click "Email address"
To change your email from a computer/laptop web browser or mobile web browser:
- Click your name in the top right corner of the page (if you're on a computer or laptop web browser) or click the 3 horizontal lines on the top left or right corner of the page (if you're on a mobile web browser)
- From the drop-down, select "Profile"
- Under Account Settings, click "Update email"
After you update your email address on file, this will be your new email address to log in with.
