If your bank account does not have sufficient funds when your payment is due, here’s what you can expect:
Reminder Email
To help you prepare, we will send you a reminder email three business days before your payment date. This gives you an opportunity to ensure that your account is funded in time.
Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Fee
If you still do not have enough funds on the payment date, please note that we will apply a non-sufficient funds (NSF) fee ranging from $25 to $54. This fee helps cover the costs associated with the failed transaction.
Next Steps
After the payment attempt fails, we will reach out to you via email. In this communication, you’ll be able to select a new date for the payment to be reattempted.
How to Avoid NSF Fees
To avoid these fees in the future:
- Ensure sufficient funds are in your account prior to the payment date.
- Consider setting up alerts or reminders for your payment schedule.
