Understanding Email Verification

  • Updated

Verifying your email address helps protect your account and ensures a secure experience when using Borrowell.

Why email verification is required

We ask you to verify your email address for several important reasons:

  • Protect your account: Verifying your email confirms that you own the email address associated with your account, helping prevent unauthorized account creation and fraud.
  • Keep your account secure: Your verified email is used for important security actions, such as password resets, identity verification, multi-factor authentication, and account notifications.
  • Prevent fraudulent activity: Email verification helps reduce fake account creation and protects against automated bot registrations and other forms of abuse.
  • Rewards Disbursement: For any rewards disbursement, a valid email address is required to ensure the reward is sent to the correct recipient.
