How do I enable multi-factor authentication?

To enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your Borrowell account, follow these steps based on whether you are using the mobile app or a web browser.

  • Enabling via the Mobile App

    1. Log In: Open the Borrowell app and log into your account.
    2. Access Settings: Click the settings icon located at the top right corner of the screen.
    3. Navigate to Security Settings: Select “Login and Security.”
    4. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication: Switch the toggle to ‘enabled’ for “Multi-factor authentication,” and follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
  • Enabling via Computer or Laptop

    1. Log In: Sign into your Borrowell account.
    2. Profile Access: Click your name in the top right corner of the page.
    3. Select Profile: From the drop-down menu, select "Profile."
    4. Update Security Settings: Under “Account Settings,” select “Multi-factor authentication” and follow the on-screen instructions to enable it.
  • Enabling via Mobile Web Browser

    1. Log In: Open Borrowell in your mobile web browser and sign in.
    2. Menu Access: Click the three horizontal lines in the top corner of the page.
    3. Select Profile: Choose "Profile" from the menu.
    4. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication: Under “Account Settings,” click “Multi-factor authentication” and follow the prompts to activate it.

By enabling multi-factor authentication, you add an extra layer of security to your Borrowell account, ensuring that you are better protected against unauthorized access.
