To change the multi-factor authentication (also known as two-step verification) method for your Borrowell account, follow these instructions based on whether you are using the mobile app or a web browser.
Changing Multi-Factor Authentication via the Mobile App
- Log In: Open the Borrowell app and log into your account.
- Access Settings: Click the icon
located at the top right corner of the screen.
- Navigate to Security Settings: Select Login and Security.
- Enable Multi-factor authentication: Switch the toggle to enabled for Multi-factor authentication, and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process.
Changing Multi-Factor Authentication via a Web Browser
On a Computer or Laptop:
- Log In: Sign into your Borrowell account.
- Profile Access: Click your name in the top right corner of the page.
- Select Profile: From the drop-down menu, select Profile.
- Update Security Settings: Under Account Settings, select Multi-step authentication and follow the on-screen instructions to change your verification method.
On a Mobile Web Browser:
- Log In: Open Borrowell in your mobile web browser and sign in.
- Menu Access: Click the three horizontal lines in the top left or right corner of the page.
- Select Profile: Choose Profile from the menu.
- Change Multi-Step Authentication: Under Account Settings, click Multi-step authentication and follow the prompts to update your method.
