If the personal information in your Credit Builder application for ID verification is incorrect, here’s how to update it:
Changing Your Address
- Contact Equifax: Before making any changes, reach out to Equifax to confirm the address they have on file for you.
- Update Borrowell: Keep in mind that updating your address with Borrowell does not automatically update it with Equifax. Mismatched information can prevent you from receiving your credit score or report.
Changing Your Name
- Contact Equifax: Verify the name Equifax has on file before initiating a change.
- Update Borrowell: Similar to address changes, updating your name with Borrowell does not update it with the credit bureau. Any discrepancies may hinder your ability to access your credit report or score.

To change your address from a computer/laptop web browser:
- Click your name on the top right corner of the page (if you're on a computer or laptop web browser) or click the 3 horizontal lines on the top left or right corner of the page (if you're on a mobile web browser)
- From the drop-down, select "Profile"
- Under Contact Information, click "Edit Profile"
On the mobile app:
- Click on the account icon in the top right corner.
- Click on Edit your profile
- Please note- you are only able to update the following:
- Residential Address
- Phone Number
- Income
