Borrowell Log In to Win $5K Contest (the “Contest”)

The Contest is sponsored by Borrowell Inc. (“Borrowell”).

THIS CONTEST IS ONLY OPEN TO CANADIAN RESIDENTS AND IS GOVERNED BY CANADIAN LAW.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. SEE BELOW FOR FULL CONTEST DETAILS. PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF, AND AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY, THESE CONTEST RULES (THE “CONTEST RULES”).

ELIGIBILITY

1. The Contest is open to Borrowell members who reside in Canada at the time of entry and the time of the draw. Participants must have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees (and such individuals’ immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled) of Borrowell, and anyone professionally connected with the Contest and/or Borrowell are not eligible to enter or participate in the Contest. For the purposes of the Contest Rules, “immediate family” refers to the father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, husband, wife or partner of such an employee, agent and/or representative.

CONTEST PERIOD

2. The Contest begins on March 2, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on March 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”).

HOW TO ENTER

3. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Limit of one (1) entry per entrant during the Contest Period. To earn one (1) automatic entry in this Contest you must:

  1. Have a valid Borrowell account; and

  2. Log in to your Borrowell account during the Contest Period. 

4. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

5. No purchase entry method available. To receive one (1) entry without logging in, hand-print your name, complete mailing address (including postal code), e-mail, telephone number, the Contest title, and a unique and original 100-word or more essay on “Describe how $5,000 would act as a 'reset button' for your credit health”, and mail it in a sealed postage pre-paid envelope to WeWork c/o Borrowell Inc., 1 University Ave, 3rd Floor, Toronto, ON M5J 2P1. Mail must be datestamped no later than March 31, 2026 and must be received no later than April 7, 2026. No script, macro, robotic or other program-assisted, mechanically reproduced entries are permitted. Limit of one (1) mail-in entry request per person. Ineligible entries will be considered incomplete.

PRIZE

6. There will be one (1) prize available to be won, consisting of a CAD $5,000 cash prize (the “Prize”) which will be paid by e-transfer to a Canadian bank account in the winner’s name. The Prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. Borrowell reserves the right, for any reason and in its sole discretion, to substitute and/or modify the Prize with one of equal or greater value. 

DRAW 

7. On or around April 30, 2026, in Toronto, Ontario, at approximately 12:00 p.m. ET (the “Draw Date”), one (1) entry will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. An entrant can only win a maximum of one (1) prize in total.

WINNER NOTIFICATION

8. Within two (2) business days of the Draw Date, Borrowell, acting reasonably, will attempt to contact the potential winner (the “Eligible Winner”) via the email associated with the Borrowell account (the “Winner Notification”).  In order to redeem the prize and be declared a winner, the Eligible Winner must confirm receipt of the Winner Notification within seven (7) calendar days from the date the Winner Notification is sent and complete all steps outlined therein including correctly answering, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and signing a declaration of eligibility and a liability/publicity release, which:

  1. confirms compliance with the Contest Rules; 

  2. releases Borrowell, its affiliated companies and agents, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from any liability in connection with the Contest, the Eligible Winner’s participation therein and/or the awarding and use or misuse of the prize or any portion thereof; and

  3. grants Borrowell the right to use the Eligible Winner’s name, address, likeness, photo, biographical information and/or statements about this Contest for publicity purposes without further notice or compensation.

9. If an Eligible Winner: (i) cannot be contacted within two (2) business days after the Winner Notification or there is a return of any prior notification as undeliverable; (ii) fails to comply with Borrowell’s verification requests; (iii) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; or (iv) fails to return the contest documents within the requested time period, then they will be disqualified and will forfeit the Prize. Borrowell reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select an alternate entrant from among the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the Contest Rules. Borrowell is not responsible for the failure for any reason whatsoever of an Eligible Winner to receive notification or for Borrowell to receive an Eligible Winner’s response. 

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

10. By participating in the Contest, the entrant understands and agrees that Borrowell will collect, use and disclose their personal information solely to administer the Contest in accordance with the Borrowell Privacy Policy (available at: https://borrowell.com/privacy-policy). 

RELEASE

11. Borrowell assumes no responsibility or liability for entries that are late, lost, stolen, illegible, contain false information, are damaged, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, altered or otherwise irregular or for any computer, software, hardware or technical malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry.

12. Borrowell will not be liable for any failure of the website during the Contest; for a technical malfunction or other problems relating to the telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment or software; for the failure of any entry to be received by Borrowell for any reason including, but not limited to, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website; or any combination of the above. Further, Borrowell will not be liable for any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading any material in the Contest.

13. Borrowell reserves the right to cancel, suspend, withdraw or amend this Contest in any way, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of Borrowell that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Contest Rules. 

14. You assume liability for injuries or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession of, use of, or failure to receive any Prize. 

DISQUALIFICATION & TAMPERING

15. All entries are subject to verification at any time and for any reason. Borrowell reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require proof of identity and/or eligibility: (i) for the purposes of verifying an individual’s eligibility to participate in this Contest; (ii) for the purposes of verifying the eligibility and/or legitimacy of any entry entered (or purportedly entered) for the purposes of this Contest; and/or (iii) for any other reason Borrowell deems necessary, in its sole discretion, for the purposes of administering this Contest in accordance with these Contest Rules. Failure to provide such proof to the satisfaction of Borrowell in a timely manner may result in disqualification. 

16. Any attempt or suspected attempt to use robotic, automatic, programmed, or otherwise, illicit means to enter or otherwise participate in the Contest, or any other methods not authorized by these Contest Rules, for example, but not limited to, creating multiple Borrowell accounts, shall be deemed as tampering and may disqualify you from entering, participating, winning prizes (defined herein), and preclude you from participating in future contests and promotions, at the sole discretion of Borrowell. 

17. Any attempt to deliberately damage the Contest website or otherwise undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Borrowell reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including but not limited to criminal prosecution.

GENERAL

18. By entering the Contest, you agree to abide by these Contest Rules. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where prohibited by law. The decisions of Borrowell with respect to all aspects of this Contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal.

19. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Contest Rules or the rights and obligations of participants, Borrowell or any of the other Released Parties in connection with the Contest will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. The parties hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Ontario in any action to enforce (or otherwise relating to) these Contest Rules or relating to this Contest.

20. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including, but not limited to, any website(s), platform(s), point of sale, television, print or online advertising and/or any instructions or interpretations of these Contest Rules given by any representative of Borrowell, the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by law. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Contest Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Contest Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with the terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
