To disable two-step verification (2SV) for your Borrowell account, follow these steps based on whether you are using the mobile app or a web browser.
Disabling Two-Step Verification via the Mobile App
- Log In: Open the Borrowell app and log into your account.
- Access Settings: Click the icon
located at the top right corner of the screen.
- Navigate to Security Settings: Select “Login and Security.”
- Disable Two-Step Verification: Switch the toggle to ‘disabled’ for “Two-step verification,” and follow any additional on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Disabling Two-Step Verification via a Web Browser
On a Computer or Laptop:
- Log In: Sign into your Borrowell account.
- Profile Access: Click your name in the top right corner of the page.
- Select Profile: From the drop-down menu, select "Profile."
- Update Security Settings: Under “Account Settings,” select “Two-step verification.”
- Disable 2-Step Verification: Click on “Disable 2-step verification” and follow any prompts to confirm.
On a Mobile Web Browser:
- Log In: Open Borrowell in your mobile web browser and sign in.
- Menu Access: Click the three horizontal lines in the top left or right corner of the page.
- Select Profile: Choose "Profile" from the menu.
- Change Two-Step Verification: Under “Account Settings,” click “Two-step verification” and follow the instructions to disable it.
After completing these steps, two-step verification will be disabled for your Borrowell account, allowing you to log in without needing a second verification step.
