To electronically verify your rent payment, we require you to link your bank account or credit card due to the following:
- When you log in each month, you’ll be asked to confirm your rent payment. Because you’ve connected your bank account, we’ll be able to present your bank transactions for you to select the one associated with your rent as proof of payment.
- Your credit card will be connected to pay for the service.
Rent Advantage verifies payments using electronic bank records or by manually submitting proof of rent payments which removes the friction associated with requiring your landlord’s commitment to providing monthly proof of payment before it can be reported to the credit bureau. Because you will be the one selecting/submitting your rent transaction each month, it will not be dependent on your landlord's approval.
