For monthly rent reporting, you’ll need to log in every month to confirm your rent payment. This will ensure that your payments are accurately reported, as per below.
- Verification of Payments: Monthly rent reporting verifies your rent payments through either an electronic bank connection or manual submission. By logging in, you can select or submit the transaction that corresponds to your rent payment for the month.
- Avoid non-reporting: You must log in to confirm your monthly rent payment for it to be reported. If you miss a month, simply upload the missing payment from your Rent Advantage dashboard to keep your credit history on track.
- User Responsibility: This monthly confirmation process enables you to maintain control over your rental payment records without requiring direct involvement from your landlord, thereby streamlining the experience.
With past rent reporting, your rent/lease information is gathered within your initial submission (after signing up). As such, it will not be necessary to confirm your rent each month.
