I already placed an alert on file with Equifax, will Borrowell call me if someone creates an account under my name?

If you have placed a fraud alert on your file with Equifax Canada, Borrowell will not be able to verify your identity to complete the creation of your account. The identity verification system provided by Equifax Canada will be blocked due to the alert on your file, preventing Borrowell from accessing your Equifax Canada credit information on your behalf.
